Germany: Weekend Events Guide

The Bonfires were lit for Easter and winter was sent packing officially as the ski season closed last Sunday in Winterberg. This means that the Spring and summer season is here with many events to enjoy. 

In the Garrison, this weeks Movie Club at AWS will be Hoppers at 16:30. 


Places for the H2O Coach Trip, must be booked and paid for this weeks cost is 10 Euro for adults and 5 Euro for children. H2O is ranked in the top 10  indoor water parks in Germany. The drive takes about 40 mins by coach. Book with Community support at Brydon House. Check out the pools and slides here.

Paderborn is warming up for the Summer Libori celebrations with the Lunapark funfair on the Maspernplatz from Saturdaz at 16:30. Happz hour day with 2-4-1 rides on Weds 22nd. 

Herford Spring fair is this Sunday

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the city center will transform into a vibrant oasis with charming decorations, a diverse program, and shops open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 



Guttersloh your chance to see the amazing "Splash" from the Charles Knie Circus  this weekend on the Marktplatz.

Daily at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets €18 to €25 available online at the website here.

Maxipark Hamm Head to Maxipark to enjoy a massive Lego event at the exhibition hall. Scenes from Movies and history have been created. Buy entry tickets to the park 
(€7 for Adults €4 for kids)  and event entry is €3. The park has massive themed play areas. flower beds and nature areas plus a Butterfly house.
