Germany: Local Events Guide

Here are some events and activities to check out in the next week or so. Please double check local police and weather travel advisory notices whilst the chance of icy conditions persits on the roads. 

Regular events on camp:

Zumba classes three times a week in the Gym- Contact Sylvia lane for details.

Art classes at the Loeseke Community Centre 1st and 8th Feb See booking details on the Garrison Facebook Page or contact the HIVE. Places are 10€ per person. 

Coffee Morning each Weds at Brydon House from 10:30 am.

Cinema Club Every Weds and Sunday at the WRVS cinema. this week is Wicked 2

31st Jan Kids Carnival 3.30 pm

With the main event of Carnival on the 14th Feb this year on Rose Monday.  The Furstenburg Carnival team has set up a special event for the kids. The location is just outside of Bad Wunnerburg about 30 mins south of Sennelager.


Carnival of Generations for young-at-heart revelers with many well-known performers from the Fürstenberg Carnival, such as the Red Sparks Guards, the FCC's solo dancers, the men's ballet, Prince Markus I, the children's prince and princess Julia II and Danny I, and many more.

Hiking with the Bad Lippspringe and Paderborn hiking groups. Find out about the local hiking groups ad the hikes they organise  on the blog here. guided walks including transport cost 10€ - 12€.
