Our traditional Christmas Day lunch is back!
We are pleased to share that the GibSams Christmas Day Lunch is back this year. The lunch offers a free, warm and welcoming space for anyone in Gibraltar who would prefer not to be alone on Christmas Day. Now delivered in partnership with GibSilver, the lunch is also open to those aged 55 and over who would enjoy company and conversation on what can be a difficult day for many.
Christmas Day can bring mixed feelings. For some, it is joyful, but for others it can be a reminder of loneliness, loss or change. Our Christmas Day Lunch aims to bring people together around a shared meal in a relaxed and friendly setting. There will be conversation, company, great food and a few festive surprises along the way.
This year’s event will take place at Time Out Café, Europort, on Thursday 25 December from 12.30 to 15.30.
We are grateful to Ramparts and Octopus International Business Services Ltd for sponsoring the lunch, as well as to Playtech, Eroski, The EV Foundation (trust) and our fabulous hosts Time Out Café for their support in making this gathering possible.
We must also share our deepest gratitude for the volunteers from both GibSams and GibSilver who are giving up their time on Christmas Day to host and create a wonderful atmosphere for our guests.
