As the darker months begin, everyone is invited to celebrate St. Martin's Day at Salzkotten's traditional torchlight procession with a St. Martin's play and the subsequent distribution of Stutenkerl (sweet bread figures) takes place amidst the aroma of roasted almonds, many treats, and the lively funfair atmosphere in the Sälzerhalle parking lot. With a little luck, you might even win your Christmas roast in the goose raffle.
