BRUSSELS: The Brussels Christmas Tree official lighting this Friday 28th November 2025, 18:00

Christmas is coming to Brussels, this Friday. Whilst the home grown (in Antwerp) Christmas Tree, standing an incredible 20 metres tall, was delivered to the Grand-Place last week, the official lighting will take place on Friday 28th November 2025 at 18:00.

But not before it has been beautifully decorated by Belgian Designer Jean-Paul Lespagnard and his team. The tree will stand proud alongside the nativity scene and amid a display of ground and aerial light performances.

The Christmas Markets “Winter Wonders” also open this Friday with a sound and light extravaganza entitled “Echoes of Colour” in the Grand-Place. The Christmas Markets then remain open until 1st January 2026.
