BFB CHARITY MOVIE – “JAARI-2”
Background
Brunei Signal Troop (BST) will be organising a charity movie night, featuring the Nepali blockbuster movie ‘Jaari-2’, for all Serving Personnel and their families within British Forces Brunei (BFB). The main purpose of this event is to bring our BFB community together for an enjoyable evening, raising funds for Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) and Queen’s Gurkha Signals (QGS) Heritage.
Movie
Jaari-2 is a traditional Nepali movie which explores the importance of tradition, the resilience of culture and the relationship dynamics.
Ticket Sale
Tickets for the movie is BND $ 20 and it can be purchased at following areas from 18 Nov 25 onwards. The tickets must be shown at the entry on the day.

Venue
The movie will be shown in JWD theatre hall.
Food & Drinks
There will be traditional food and drinks available at the venue. Everyone is requested to bring enough cash for the food & drinks.

Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT)
The GWT is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Gurkha veterans, their families, and communities in Nepal. It was established in 1969, and ensures that Gurkha veterans who served in the British Army, and their dependants, receive the care and support they need, particularly in retirement phase.
Queen’s Gurkha Signals Heritage
The QGS heritage is deeply rooted in the Bde of Gurkhas preserving the Gurkha culture and history.
