Saturday 11th & 12th 2025  Retro Computer Festival 4 -  Heinz Nixdorf Museum Paderborn

The fourth edition of the Retro Computer Festival will take you back to the golden age of home and microcomputers. Over two days, around 100 exhibitors will be at the HNF, showcasing their treasures, from the C64 to the Amiga, Atari, and Macintosh, as well as numerous exotic models whose names are barely known today. entry 10 € for adults and 7 € for ages 6 -18 yrs. Sunday 12th Oct Lippesee  1000 - 1600 - Autumn mini market Paderborn

Head to the Lippesee on Sunday to enjoy a mall craft and garden market. you will find plenty of ideas for your garden planting this Autumn. Free to attend. The event is at the Gut Lipesse Cafe & Restaurant.

Weds 15th Oct Trampoline workshops for children and adults - Bad Lippspringe Gartenschau 1530 -1630 

New in-ground trampolines await you in the Green Classroom area. This inclusive trampoline facility is a LEADER-funded project run by the Friends' Association and promotes motor development, balance, and coordination. Free to use but you need to pay the Gartenschau entry for adults as normal. 

Saturday 11th & 12th Oct Salzkotten Apple Festival 

The 10th Vauß-Hof Apple Festival with a large arts and crafts market, apple juice press and variety identification, stage program, many activities for children and numerous delicacies. A highlight of the farm every year the days are packed with activities for the kids  and delicious food for everyone. Drive time to the farm in Salzkotten is about 15 mins.



Sunday 19th Oct Rietberg Kite festival / end of summer party

The Kite Festival takes place on Sunday, October 19th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the northern part of the park. 



Fangdorn,a 10-meter-long dragon that can spit meter-long flames and blow smoke, flap its wings, growl, and even wink sweetly, will be performing four dragon-like shows in the Volksbank Arena: at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. 

There's also plenty of other activities for the whole family on this day. The mobile games center will be on site and offers a wide variety of activities. Stick bread can be roasted at fire bowls, and pumpkins are waiting to be painted. Various bouncy castles invite children to jump and romp around. The Green Classroom staff will help them make amazing kites.

Visiting the Dragon Festival is included in regular park admission. Adults pay €6 for a day ticket, and children ages 4 and older pay €2. Younger children and season ticket holders are admitted free. Drive time to the North entrance car park is about 30 mins.
