Germany: What's On This Weekend

German Unity Day is Tomorrow which means a public holiday so please note shops will be closed.  Some Bakeries and Cafe / Restaurants will open as per Sunday hours. 

The main celebrations will take place in Saarbruken about 4hrs 30 mins  drive from Sennelager.

Bin Collections
Due to the public holiday ASP will be emptying the black Bins on Saturday. For more information and to check future collection dates, please visit the ASP website here.



Oktoberfest 
If you missed the events in September or could not get a booking in Munich for a beer tent do not worry there are still plenty of events you can enjoy.  

Munster on Monday 6th October has good seated availability from 20 Euro pp - Seats on the Friday night are at 126 Euro PP.  Or check out the Okotoberfest by boat in Cologne on the 18th at 55 Euro pp. Bielefeld also has tickets left for the Saturday night 26th Oct  84 Euro for a 4 person table.

Family Events

Family Celebration with Football game 3rd Oct 11 am - Free entry
- Herman Lons Stadium A short drive will get you to the stadium. Lots of fun for the kids. (The stadium is home to the Paderborn American Football Team so they might be hosting the event.)

End of summer Party - Schloss Neuhaus 3rd Oct 11 Am Free entry 
The event cis a celebration of the food & culture from the region. the "Day of the regions" will have activities for the kids to enjoy and a farmers market too. Full details here

Weiberkram Womens Secondhand Market
Paderborn Schutzenhof Sunday 5th Oct 11 am - 1600 4 Euro Admission. Enjoy some shopping with a pop up café for refreshments in Paderborn. Full details here.










Oktoberwoche Warburg 3nd - 5th Oct Free entry Warburg (42 min drive time)
The 76th Warburg October Week offers a diverse program for the whole family including funfair.

There's something for every musical taste and the supporting program offers fun for young and old including the city soccer championships, and the 25th vintage car rally. Admission to the festival tent is  free.
