IMPORTANT REMINDER
Please do turn on and check your heating, radiators, and water shut-off valves (generally located at each outlet - under your sinks etc.) BEFORE we head too far into the colder weather.
🏠 Boilers in the houses are notorious for faults. Anything other than a minor repair has to go to the landlord to fix and DIO has limited control over timelines. Some landlords are quicker than others but check now to avoid the pain of no heating as we head into Autumn/Winter.
🚱 Water shut-off valves are your first line of defence in a leak. This means you can hopefully isolate the tap/toilet that is the issue rather than need to shut-off water to the whole property. These often seize through age and not being used, preventing you from shutting off the water.
If you notice any issues, please do report them via the DIO Helpdesk as soon as possible, to enable them to facilitate the resolution of issues without too much disruption to you and your family.
