SEXUAL HEALTH
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common and can be passed on during sex or through sexual contact. Everyone who has condomless sex with new or casual partners is at risk of catching an STI.
Symptoms of sexually transmitted disease (STI)
Regular testing for STIs is essential to maintain good sexual health.
Everyone should get an STI screen including an HIV test at least once a year if having condomless sex with new or casual partners – even if they don’t have any symptoms.
Those at risk of STIs and HIV can access testing through sexual health services (GUM).
PCMF offers a dedicated Sexual Health clinic that is free, strictly confidential and provides both testing and treatment.
