Defence Children Services: Service Pupil Premium – register your child before 1 Oct 2026

If you're a Service parent and your child attends a school in England, make sure their school knows about your Service status before 1 October 2026.

Eligible schools can receive £360 per eligible Service pupil through the Service Pupil Premium (SPP), helping them provide additional support for Service children.

Brunssum: Out and About Coffee Morning

The CLOs are hosting an Out and About Coffee Morning at Brasserie Schuttershuske on Thursday 1st October from 10:00am.

This is a chance to meet the Community Liaison Officers Thea and Annette, as well as other community members, in an informal setting outside of the base environment. All are welcome, including well-behaved dogs on a lead. 

The CLOs will be there from 10:00 until 12:00, and the Brasserie is in Schutterspark if you want to continue your day with a lovely walk!

Brunei: Dental Centre Update for Routine Clinics

Please be advised that the Dental Centre will be undergoing refurbishment (first phase) for approximately four weeks, commencing Friday, 25 September 2026.

During this period, our clinical capacity will be reduced by 50%. As a result, routine services will be limited, and there may be some unplanned disruption or changes to appointments.

We will continue to provide:

• Emergency dental appointments
• Priority appointments for Service personnel deploying on exercise, operations or training
• Currently booked in appointments are to go ahead as normal
