If you live in Single Living Accommodation (SLA) – in a Mess, Barrack Block or equivalent – and you need to move your things when posted to another unit, there are two ways you can get help:
UK Private Arrangements Self Help Scheme (UK PASH) – you arrange your own move and claim back some of the costs
Self Pack Service (SPS) – your unit helps move your belongings through storesWhat's changing?

UK PASH remains a popular choice – used by over 1,500 Service personnel last year – and from 1 May 2026, it’s getting even better.

BRUNEI: BFB Spouses Circuit Classes - Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 0900 - 1000 hrs @ Garrison Gym

Circuit Classes are held in the Garrison Gym on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 0900-1000.

BFB spouses must be gym inducted to attend class and use gym facility.

For gym induction seek Duty PTI by person on Mon-Thu at 0900 - 1100 hrs or contact Duty PTI on Ext 3246. 

There is no requirement for personal insurance cover as its covered by BFB establishment insurance.

BRUSSELS: The Canal Water Bus is open for business

The Brussel's Canal service launched this month for the Spring-Summer Season.

With five stops along the way between Sainctelette and Vilvoorde the journey takes around one hour. Each stop is connected by public transport so is popular with commuters, tourists and day trippers as well as cyclists who can take their bikes with them and cycle back.

Weekends will offer themed trips and cruises too.

Advanced bookings necessary.

WHEN: Weekdays from 1st May until 31st October, Weekends from 1st July until 15th August. 

WHERE: Quai des Peniches (Brussels) and Steenkaai (Vilvoorde)

Brunssum: Playground Fort Willem, Maastricht

 

Looking for something fun to do with the kids for €2 per person? Fort Willem playground in Maastricht is suitable for children up to the age of 12. There are playgrounds, mini golf, a splash pool with slides, sandpits and shaded areas to sit.

Every first Wednesday of the month, from 14.00 - 15.00 read aloud in the playground, with a free book for each child.
