14th Mar - Build a Bird Box in Borchen
Borchen Nature Conservation Group's community garden invite you children to build your own nesting box for the garden with your parents/grandparents.
The event will take place on March 14th at 10:00 a.m. at the greenhouse in Mallinckrodtpark Nordborchen.
What to bring: A love of DIY!
If you'd like to use your own tools, you'll need a hammer, a P2 Phillips screwdriver or a P2 bit for a power drill, and a 3 mm wood/metal drill bit. Everything else will be provided.
You children will assemble the nesting box from the individual parts. You can sand, drill, screw, or nail. Parents or grandparents can help or watch. Then, with the finished nesting box, it's off to the garden... Of course, we'll also be there to help and explain how to build it.
