- Nuremburg Easter Market Until 6th Apr: Known as the "Häferlesmarkt" for its exquisite ceramics, this market in the Hauptmarkt features over 80 stalls with hand-painted eggs and traditional "Palmkatzerl" (pussy willow) bundles. Drive time 4 hrs.

The Big Spring Funfairs (Frühlingsfeste)
- Stuttgart Spring Festival 18th Apr. If you prefer roller coasters and beer tents, Germany’s spring festivals offer the "Oktoberfest vibe" with fewer crowds.: Often called the largest spring festival in Europe, the Cannstatter Wasen offers massive beer tents like the "Grandls Hofbräu Zelt" and world-class thrill rides. - Bremen Osterwiese 27th Mar - 12th Apr. Northern Germany’s premier fair held at the Bürgerweide, featuring over 50,000 square meters of pure entertainment. Drive time 2 hrs 15 mins.

- Hamburg DOM from now until 19th Apr. The fair is lit up with a firework show fireworks will take place on the 5th & 17th Apr. They start at 10:30 pm each evening.

4th - 12th Apr - BIE HAPPY! - Bielefeld - Drive time 34 mins. Visit the Funfair on Heeper Str with a firework show on the Friday night
4 - 6th Apr - Easter Fun at Rietberg Gartenschau A puppet theatre, circus acts Egg hunt and Frozen themed shows with Anna, Elsa and Olaf. All on in the Gartenschau this week. Park entry costs €6 per adult; children aged 4 and over pay €2.
