8th - 10th May - Paderborn Fruhlingsfest. Enjoy free music on three different stages in the city each evening. Sunday Shopping on 10th May.
For kids a whole group of street performers will be in the city centre in the afternoons with magic tricks, bubble displays and a hands on percussion event. Here is a google map with the stage locations.
8th May - 26th Jun Bad Lippspringe Sandworlds - Giant insects take over the park in this years event. Ladybugs, Bees, and Dragonflies have been craved out of sand. Kids can tackle the Sand Sculpture Quiz to win great prizes, jump on bouncy castles, and dive into themed crafts.
- May 10th: Celebrate Bee Day with live kids' dance groups.
- June 28th: Discover the magic of butterfly metamorphosis and catch a live puppet show by the Laku Paka Theater at 3:00 p.m.
9th May - For Gardening lovers go to the Rietberg Gartenschau and help in the tulip and hyacinth re homing event where you can take bulbs from the park and re home them.
9th May - Augustdorf Archery club open trials at 4 p.m when you can visit the club and try archery.
10th May - Paderborner Farrhard Tag
From 11 a.m in gardens you can tryout bikes from multiple manufacturers sold in Paderborn cycle shops. The large found bicycle auction will take place again around 2:30 p.m.Kids can play on a bouncy castle Food and drink stalls will keep you refreshed.
