Any vehicle that is used in a public place needs to adhere to the relevant laws and regulations (Brunei and BFB Standing Orders).
To be road legal it must have valid insurance, registration (blue book) and road licence (vehicle tax).
Please be advised that any vehicle without the above documentation including electric scooters / electric bikes / All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) are not road legal and are not to be used in public places.
You can only legally use these vehicles on private land, with the landowner’s consent.
Use of such vehicles in public may lead to seizure and prosecution/disciplinary action.
