Closure Notice
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF DIO(B) HELPDESK.
1. The DIO(B) Helpdesk will be closed from 03 April 2026 (Friday) to 06 April 2026 (Monday) in conjunction with Good Friday and Easter Holidays.
Normal operating Hours will be resume on 07 April 2026 (Tuesday).
2. During this closure period, Faults may be reported as follows:
a. Emergency Faults – Report to the respective duty officer at 8330220 / 8330230.
b. Routine Faults – Email to BRUNEIGAR-DIO-HELPDESK@mod.gov.uk .
Routine faults will be addressed once the helpdesk resumes operations.
The road between X1 Flats and X1 Officers Qtrs will be closed from 0800 -1600 on Monday 6th April 2026 to conduct essential works. There will be no public access to this area as there will be heavy machinery operating.
DIO contractors will be carrying out inspection works as shown in the table below. Utilities may be affected during the work, but DIO contractors will try to minimise disruption.

X1 Road Hacking Works
Following from the recent publish from DIO, we would like to inform the community in the X1 area of the upcoming digging works to lay a new water pipe and associated electrical cables to a new plant room (indicated in Figures 1 and 2 below). The hacking road will commence on 07 Apr 2026 and expected to complete by 10 Apr 2026.
The following disruption may occur during the on-going works:

- Road disruption. There will be road disruption as per indicated and DIO will try to minimise the issue by having the contractor to assist on site.
- Digging works. Due to the safety concern, the contractor will undertake excavation works and patch up the soil once new waterpipes/cables are laid into the ground. Hoarding will be provided at the area to avoid the public from entering the area.
- Noise pollution. Due to the machinery used, there will be noise pollution caused when hacking the road
Due to an unforeseen issue on site, we will need to extend the closure of the swimming pool until 10th April 2026. For safety reasons, please continue to comply with the rules stated below.

Location: H16 Splash pool
Working hours: 0830hrs to 1700hrs
Working days: Monday - Saturday

For safety reasons, please avoid entering the construction site at all times. During working hours, the surrounding area may experience increased noise levels, ongoing loading and unloading activities, and restricted access due to safety measures.

1. In Order to Comply with the UK standard, DIO contractor Marsee will be carrying out the scope of works as shown below:
a. Check temperature reading of hot and cold water at the very sentinal point.
b. Check chlorine level in water using site test kit.
c. Visual check and small adjustment of water heater.
d. To record water analysis
e. Duration of work will take 10 minutes to 15mins.

The work scope consists of digging works to lay a new water pipe and associated electrical cables to a new plant room (indicated in Figures 1 and 2 below). Works are expected to be completed by the end of April 2026.
The following disruption may occur during the on-going works:

a. Location (building, room, asset).
b. Full name of customer, if not SP, SP details must be included.
c. Contact details of customer, both email and telephone.
d. Description (as clear and precise as possible).
e. When fault happened/ how long has it been a fault.
f. Photo.
4. These details are imperative to increasing the efficiency of processing works,
reducing the time taken to triage, and ultimately the issue being resolved
